My dear friends, here I leave 2012 with a quick study of clouds on the last page of my watercolor notebook. These are product of photos taken in the last two months and the desire to begin tackling these complicated ephemeral forms!
I think 2013 might bring even more landscape studies in watercolor!!! Seems like something that might be fun... and healthy for all my other drawings and projects (bunnies and other adventures).
Everybody take care and have a beautiful new year.
Oohh!! Thanks! I'm glad, they are super hard, but I had quite a bit of fun with this. I've been looking at the sky more often lately, those rainy clouds are also pretty fun to look at before and after the storm!
Oh cool. XD Looking at the sky is a pretty good thing to do. I do that often, but more at night sky, I think. I love to see the stars, the planets and the moon and I wish I can learn to identify some more constellations in a not very distant future.
Aw, how I envy you! Puerto Rico is such a small island yet so freaking crowded with light contamination. Right now I can sort of see Orion's belt, but not much more.
Here it depends on the day, but I can see some stars from the city where I live, but when I go to somewhere outside the city, it's much better. In New Year's Eve I saw one of the most fabulous night skies I've ever seen. It had a big gibbous moon, some clouds around almost like a frame, and the parts of the sky that ad no clouds showed brilliant stars. Beautiful.
